Itinerary
Arrival in Dubai
Upon your arrival at Dubai International Airport, your personal driver will take you to your hotel for the next three nights. The Park Hyatt is located right on the shores of Dubai Creek, close to downtown Dubai. The rooms exude pure elegance, offer great views, and are equipped with the highest quality products.
Discovering Dubai
Dubai is an extraordinary city that is constantly changing. This is reflected throughout the metropolis. Fascinating contrasts of culture and architecture can be found here. Arab tradition and cosmopolitan modernity exist side by side and create a harmonious relationship.
Your day begins with a city tour where you will visit the island “The Palm Jumeirah,” see skyscrapers like the Burj Al Arab, and explore the Jumeirah Mosque, whose impressive interior leaves visitors in awe. A highlight of today is one of Dubai's landmarks: the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. This is followed by a walk through downtown and over a traditional Arab souk. Before returning to the hotel, you will learn about Dubai's culture and history at the Al-Fahidi Fort Museum.
Dubai “on your own”
Today is at your leisure. Dubai is a world city where you can constantly discover something new. The Dubai Mall is perfect for an extensive shopping tour. Of course, we also have plenty of insider tips that we are happy to share.
The Sultanate of Oman
After a relaxed start to the day, you'll head to the airport in the early afternoon, from where you'll fly to the Omani capital, Muscat. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our colleagues from Primeclass Lounge, who will handle your immigration formalities while you can relax a bit from the flight. Your personal driver will then take you to your hotel, which is hidden amid unique nature. On the way, you will stop in Birkat al-Mauz, a small village that has preserved the charm of the original culture and offers you insight into it. Then you will continue to your hotel for the coming nights. The Alila Jabel Akhdar is located in the impressive Hajar Mountains at over 2,000 meters above sea level. It is the perfect place for a mix of relaxation and adventure.
Jebel Akhdar – the Green Mountain
Today you will explore the surroundings. Jebel Akhdar (translated as “green mountain”) is part of the Omani Hajar Mountains. It has more than earned its name, as it is one of the most fertile regions in the country. Terraced fields have been established on the slopes, where various fruits such as pomegranates and apricots are grown. Roses also grow here, which are used for the production of the famous rose water of the region.
In the afternoon, you will head to Nizwa. The former capital of the Sultanate has a traditional souk where you can experience Omani culture up close. One of Nizwa's landmarks is the fort, from whose walls you can enjoy fantastic views of the surroundings and the mountains.
In the evening, we will make our way back to the hotel. From there, you can wonderfully observe the spectacular sunset.
Oman's Mountain World
The Hajar Mountains are the perfect place for hiking, mountain biking tours, and, of course, relaxing. In the spa area and the infinity pool, you can unwind while enjoying impressive views. Visiting nearby villages is also possible.
Desert Adventure
Today, the next natural spectacle awaits you: the Wahiba Desert. Before you reach it, you will make a stop in Mudayrib. Here you can learn about the traditional way of life in the country and visit a traditional market. The route will finally take you through the dunes of the Wahiba Desert to a spot where camels are already waiting for you to take you to your accommodation for today.
During the camel ride, you can observe the blazing sun setting behind the dunes and painting the landscape in diverse shades. Tonight you will spend the night in the desert. The luxury tent camp from Canvas Club will be constructed exclusively for you, offering you an unforgettable experience in the midst of the desert, far from any civilization.
Wadis and the Coast
After an unmatched night in the desert, your personal chef will prepare a hearty breakfast for you. Afterwards, you will set off for Wadi Bani Khalid. It is one of the most beautiful and well-known wadis in the country and is suitable for hiking and swimming, as the riverbed carries water year-round.
Next, you will head to the port city of Sur, where you will visit and explore a dhow shipyard. On the coastal road, you will continue toward Muscat. On the way, the two wadis Tiwi and Shab offer suitable rest areas. In the early evening, you will reach your hotel.
Discovering Muscat & Saying Goodbye
Your personal Omani guide will show you the capital of the Sultanate. You will visit all the landmarks such as the mosque, the opera house, the fish market, the souk, and the old town. Your guide is very familiar with Muscat and will provide you with insights into the culture and way of life of his country.
After breakfast, today you will have to bid farewell to a wonderful time. A private transfer will take you to Muscat Airport, where you will embark on your home flight. You have explored the Orient in every facet and will take unique memories home with you that you will reflect on for a long time to come.
