Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands can be visited year-round – each season has its own charm. The best travel time for the Ecuadorian mainland is between June and October: It is dry, clear, and ideal for tours in the Andes or the Amazon.
The Galápagos Islands can be experienced as a natural paradise all year round. From December to May, the sea is calmer and warmer – ideal for snorkeling. From June to November, sightings are particularly diverse, as many animals are more active.
