We shape your Dubai trip, between design hotels, desert camps, and urban culture, exactly how it suits you – personal, thoughtful, and stylish.
Sparkling Orient and international giant metropolis at the same time – wherever you look, Dubai fascinates with its diversity. Futuristic skyscrapers rise high, gigantic shopping malls stretch as far as the eye can see. All the more enchanting is the traditional charm that, despite the abundance, is still deeply rooted in the desert city. The Dubai Creek, a long arm of the sea, winds its way through the historical heart of the contrasting city – winding alleys, traditional spice markets, colorful bazaars, a muezzin calling loudly to prayer by the shore. Travelers glide across the water in rustic wooden boats, breathing in the intoxicating scent of cloves and cardamom.
Beaches or sightseeing?
Whether you prefer to enjoy the blazing sun and the turquoise sea at Dubai's dreamlike sandy beaches or admire the impressive architecture – in the city of superlatives, you don’t have to choose. Sheikh Zayed Road impresses with spectacular buildings like the world-famous Emirates Towers and the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world. How about a drink to fully appreciate the breathtaking view? No matter what your heart desires – with your individual Dubai trip, no wish remains unfulfilled.

General information about Dubai
We have compiled the most interesting information for you about your desired travel destination.
Metropolis of Superlatives
The capital of the Emirate of Dubai bears the same name and is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Decades of construction booms have made Dubai a city of superlatives: here you will find not only the largest number of skyscrapers in the world, over 300 meters high, but also the highest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, standing at 828 meters. However, Dubai regularly sets new records in many other areas as well. Whether it’s the best restaurants, spectacular hotels, or the largest water park – Dubai delights its visitors with higher, larger, more modern, and more extravagant offerings.
Desert adventures and beach holidays
The Emirate of Dubai is largely characterized by desert landscapes that invite a unique desert adventure. Discover the vast sea of sand dunes on an action-packed off-road ride or a romantic camel ride. A special experience is also spending the night in a desert camp, where you can end the day by the campfire – under the endless starry sky. For those who prefer the “real” sea, Dubai's coast has much to offer. Numerous dreamlike beaches make Dubai the ideal destination for a beach holiday.
Shopping and luxury
Dubai is known not only as a metropolis of superlatives but also as the “City of Gold.” If you are looking for shopping options and luxury of all kinds, you are in the right place. Numerous massive shopping malls invite you to shop and offer entire experience worlds. The Dubai Mall features not only more than 1,000 shops but also an ice rink and an aquarium. The mall in the district of Al Barsha even awaits you with a fully equipped ski hall. More traditional is the atmosphere at the souks, the colorful markets and bazaars of the city. Here you will find everything from spices to gold while getting a glimpse of a world reminiscent of 1001 Nights.
Special highlights and attractions
A visit to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, is a must for any Dubai trip. The observation deck located at 456 meters offers a fantastic view over the city. Directly in front of the building, you will find the Lake Burj, the largest water fountain in the world – this means two world records are right here. Another highlight is the artificially created island of Palm Jumeirah. The new beach promenade invites you to stroll past elegant restaurants and dreamy beaches. If you are looking for culture and history, you should visit the Jumeirah Mosque, probably the most beautiful mosque in Dubai. The Alserkal Avenue in the industrial district of Al Quoz is also an absolute highlight for art and culture enthusiasts, with its art galleries, photo studios, cinemas, and theaters.
Climate and best travel time
Dubai attracts beach vacationers and sun worshippers all year round with its hot, subtropical climate. As it can become extremely hot and windy in Dubai City during the summer months, we recommend planning your trip from November to April. For most Central Europeans, the temperatures during this time, ranging from 20 to 32 degrees, promise a very pleasant climate. With a water temperature of 23 to 25 degrees, the winter months are also perfect for a beach holiday.
