“Al Waha" translates aptly to “the Oasis,” offering a Levantine-inspired buffet with live cooking stations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Activities

There is never a dull moment in the desert! A ranger station on-site offers numerous opportunities to explore this unique area in various ways. Sunrise track-reading tours are offered, as well as fat bike tours, stargazing, off-road excursions, and much more. The excellent in-house Anantara Spa ensures the best relaxation, and the two pools promise leisurely sun hours and magnificent sunsets against a backdrop of sand dunes.

Location

About two hours drive from Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH) and approximately three hours from Dubai Airport (DXB), the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is located near the Liwa Oases in the Rub al Khali Desert. About 14 kilometers before you reach the resort, you leave the main road and drive along paved paths up the meter-high sand dunes. A 4x4 vehicle is not necessary for the journey.
