Travel to Salvador da Bahia

Upon arrival at Salvador da Bahia airport, your guide will welcome you and take you to your hotel in the historic center of the city.

Salvador da Bahia

There is hardly a better way to explore a city than by visiting local markets. Therefore, today you will start at the Sao Joaquim market on the shores of Baía de Todos os Santos before getting to know more of the city's highlights. In the evening, you will visit the Miguel Santana Theater, where you can expect an impressive show with excellent dancers. They will tell you the story of Brazil in various dance styles that shape Brazil to this day.

On a panoramic city tour, you will get an even better impression of life in the city. Passing by the famous pilgrimage church Bonfim, you will continue to Monserrat and the Mercado Modelo. In the afternoon, you will have a very special experience – a percussion class. Immerse yourself in the African rhythms and the soul of Brazil. A professional musician will show you how to play the instruments and how much fun it is.

Salvador da Bahia – Lencois

After learning a lot about the culture and history of Salvador, it's time to head inland to Chapada Diamantina. The Chapada is known for its cliffs and valleys and will surely have some WOW moments in store for you.
Depending on the day of the week, you can either fly to Lencois or drive for about 6 hours by bus or car.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will take a short walk through the town, which emerged from diamond mining in the 19th century and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1973.

Chapada Diamantina

The Chapada Diamantina region awaits you with many natural wonders. You will start at Poco Azul – a deep blue lake in a limestone cave and visit the 'City of Stones.' Everywhere you will encounter historical traces from the time of diamond mining. You will visit a local farm and hike to the 50m high Mosquito waterfalls, which are perfect for refreshing. You will stop in a small fishing village and drive through the nearby wetland – also called the small Pantanal.

Lencois – Itacaré

After breakfast, you will take a flight towards Ilhéus on the famous Cocoa Coast. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel where you will spend the coming days. Surrounded by palm trees right on the sea, you might think you are in paradise. Enjoy the rest of the day. For the evening, a driver is available should you wish to dine at one of the nearby restaurants (dinner not included).

Itacaré

Nature is also the focus in Itacaré. You will visit a forest in the region, pass by waterfalls, and learn more about restoration and reforestation measures for the local flora and fauna. During a visit to a small cocoa plantation, you will learn more about the cocoa production process and as a special highlight – you will make your own chocolate at the end.

Itacaré – Peninsula Maraú

Today you will leave Itacaré and head to the Cassange region on the Maraú Peninsula. Here you will find some of the most beautiful beaches of the Brazilian coast combined with a paradisiacal freshwater lagoon. You will have the hard choice of where to swim and where to enjoy the sunset. The rest of the day is at your leisure. In the region, there are many different excursions that can be booked on-site. We recommend a boat tour for sunset, a visit to Pedra Furada Island, the Tremembé waterfall, or a 4x4 tour in the bromeliad forest. Of course, you can also try stand-up paddling, snorkeling, or various other water sports on the beach.

Peninsula Maraú

Today you can also decide what you would like to do. Visit the village of Barra Grande with its secluded beaches, go snorkeling at the reef of Taipu de Fora, or simply relax on the beach of the Pousada.

Peninsula Maraú – Olinda

Today you will fly from Ilhéus to Recife. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the picturesque town of Olinda. You will stay overnight in the historic center of Olinda with its charming cobblestone streets, Portuguese architecture, and impressive views of the sea and Recife.

Olinda

Today you will explore the city of Olinda, founded in 1535 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on foot. Stroll through the streets with their colorful houses, visit the churches, discover local artists, and enjoy the incredibly beautiful view of the city of Recife and the sea.

Olinda – Fernando de Noronha

Your journey continues to one of the most beautiful national parks in Brazil. You will fly to Fernando de Noronha – an impressive archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Depending on your flight time, you will experience a beautiful sunset on your very first evening during a boat tour or enjoy a picnic on the beach.

During today's full-day tour, you will discover Fernando de Noronha. You will visit the island's most famous beaches and sights, such as Porto, Sancho, Baía do Porcos, Cacimba do Padre, Sueste, Mirante dos Golfinhos, and more. Your guide can provide various tips for great restaurants and undiscovered beaches.

Enjoy additional days in paradise far away from typical tourist paths. You can book more tours, just relax on the beach, or go snorkeling and diving.

Fernando de Noronha - Recife

Your journey is slowly coming to an end! Today you will leave paradise and fly back to Recife. A driver will take you to the last hotel of your trip.

Return journey

You can use the morning for a last walk on the beach or go shopping in one of the shopping centers. Depending on your flight departure, you will be taken to the Recife airport.
