01 Manaus

The Gateway to the Amazon

Your journey begins in Manaus, the historic gateway to the world's largest rainforest. After your arrival, you will dive into the tumultuous history of the city – from the glory of the rubber boom to colonial architecture. A boat trip takes you to the famous natural phenomenon, the 'Meeting of the Waters', where the dark Rio Negro and the light Solimões do not mix for kilometers. Then you will visit floating villages and explore the opera house, the port, and the Indian Museum on a city tour – an exciting introduction to the world of Amazonia.

In the Heart of the Rainforest

After flying to Tefé and taking a boat ride to the Mamirauá Reserve, you will reach the ecologically managed Uakari Lodge – right in the middle of the Amazon. Here you will experience the rainforest up close: On guided hikes and canoe tours, you will encounter pink river dolphins, birds, and other wildlife. You will learn about the extraordinary biodiversity of this region and hear more about the sustainable work of the local communities. At night, you will sleep in stilt bungalows above the water – surrounded by the sounds of the jungle.

03 Alter do Chão

The Caribbean Dream of Amazonia

You will fly on to Santarém and drive to the idyllic Alter do Chão – a true insider tip. During the dry season, the shores of the Tapajós transform into dazzling white sandy beaches reminiscent of the Caribbean. By boat, you will explore the Tapajós River and visit crystal-clear side arms like the Arapiuns. Authentic encounters with river communities, snorkeling in Lago Preto, and a lunch on the beach of Ponta de Pedras round off the day. The sunset at Ponta do Cururu will remain unforgettable.

04 Belém

The Final Scent of Amazonia

To conclude your journey, you will fly to Belém, the urban heart of the eastern Amazon. The city combines colonial charm, tropical markets, and multicultural influences. On a city tour, you will visit the famous Ver-o-Peso market – a colorful hub for fruits, healing plants, fish, and local specialties.
