01 Uga Ulagalla

Between Temples & Animals

You fly from Colombo to Sigiriya. Before you reach your hotel, you will visit the impressive cave temple of Dambulla – an exciting first insight into Buddhism.

The next day, your adventure begins with a "Monkey Walk" in Polonnaruwa. Here you'll watch wild monkeys playing, climbing, and grooming each other – an experience that delights both children and adults. In the afternoon, you'll continue with the elephant safari in Minneriya National Park.

The following morning, the children can participate in the exciting Junior Ranger program and even take home a personal ranger certificate at the end. Meanwhile, you can go on a kayak tour, indulge in the spa, or simply relax by the pool.

In the afternoon, you'll explore the ancient royal city of Anuradhapura by bicycle – a playful and active approach to Sri Lanka’s fascinating history.

Adventure in Yala

After eventful days in the Cultural Triangle, you will conveniently continue south with a short domestic flight – into the fascinating wilderness of Yala National Park.

Here, the whole family dives into Sri Lanka's impressive wildlife. On an exciting safari, you may discover elephants, crocodiles, peacocks, and perhaps even one of the shy leopards – a real highlight for both small and large nature fans!

Between excursions, there is plenty of time to relax: whether by the pool, at the nature playground, or simply enjoying time together under the palm trees – Yala offers adventure and relaxation in perfect balance.
