W Maldives

In the heart of the North Ari Atoll of the Maldives lies a small island, surrounded by a shallow lagoon and a vividly colored house reef. White sand paths lead between palm trees, villas, and open terraces around the island, while the sea remains visible almost everywhere. The W Maldives combines the relaxed atmosphere of an island resort with a distinctly modern style, reflected in its architecture, music, and lifestyle. During the day, water, light, and short paths between the beach, pool, and reef determine the rhythm. In the evening, life often shifts to the restaurants and bars directly by the water.

Villas

The villas are spread both along the beach and on stilts over the lagoon. The smallest units feature around 190 square meters of total area with newly renovated living spaces, terraces, and private pools. Bright materials, large glass surfaces, and modern design elements with references to the surroundings characterize the interior style. Many areas open directly to the sea or the beach, creating a close connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Culinary

Several restaurants are located around the island, offering different perspectives on the lagoon. In the main restaurant Kitchen, international dishes with Asian influences are served, often featuring fish and seafood from the Indian Ocean. The Fish restaurant focuses on freshly caught fish and grilled dishes, mostly prepared over an open flame. This is complemented by a bar over the water, where cocktails, small dishes, and music shape the evening.

Activities

The house reef begins just a few meters from the beach and is one of the main reasons for stays on this island. Snorkeling and diving are therefore among the most common activities, as corals, reef sharks, and turtles can be observed right off the coast. The resort also organizes boat trips to other dive sites in the North Ari Atoll, known for larger schools of fish and manta rays. On the island itself, there is a spa over the water, a fitness area, and various water sports options available.
