For over ten years, I have passionately been at home in tourism – from training to today. At Take Memories, I love the diversity of the world, especially the southern Africa and the Indian Ocean make my heart beat faster. My goal in planning your trips: That you return with shining eyes – with moments in your luggage that stay with you for a lifetime.
Traveling means for me not just to see the world, but to truly experience it. Every trip changes you a little, because you collect moments that no one can take away from you.
On my bucket list
Costa Rica
Costa Rica is at the top of my wish list – a country full of wild nature and 'Pura Vida'. I dream of hiking through dense rainforests, marveling at volcanoes, and observing the colorful wildlife. Some of my colleagues have already traveled to Costa Rica and returned with great fascination; I want to be the next one to experience that feeling.
Next trip
Namibia
My next trip takes me right into the untouched nature of Namibia, to the newly opened Nkasa Linyanti Camp in mid-2026. After that, it goes directly to the spectacular Matetsi Victoria Falls – I want to explore the area around the Victoria Falls in more detail and discover what experiences await off the beaten path. Two fascinating stops in southern Africa that I am very much looking forward to.
About Julia – How travel conquered my heart
For me, tourism is far more than a profession – it is a way of life in which I have been firmly rooted since my training. Traveling means freedom, curiosity, and the chance to see the world again and again with new eyes. After over ten years in the industry, I am mainly passionate about one thing: passing this enthusiasm on to our guests.
What I love about my work is the variety. One day, I am mentally on the Seychelles, planning an unforgettable safari in Botswana, or checking out the latest beach hotel in Zakynthos. It is exactly this diversity that makes Take Memories special for me – and it ensures that my enthusiasm remains vibrant.
I do not just want to book trips for our guests. I want to inspire them from the very first second – in planning just as much as when they are on the road. The most beautiful moment for me is when someone returns from their trip and their eyes shine while recounting it. Then I know: This is exactly why I do this.

Maldives
The Maldives are my absolute place of tranquility – no other place relaxes me as much. For me, this backdrop is a piece of heaven on earth. I can spend hours snorkeling, exploring the colorful underwater world, while simply forgetting everything around me.
Siem Reap, Cambodia
Siem Reap has left a lasting impression on me. Discovering Angkor Wat, trying the Cambodian cuisine, and strolling through the small streets of the city in a relaxed manner – this mix of wonder of the world and everyday life has its own unique charm for me.
Melbourne, Australia
Melbourne is one of my absolute favorite cities because it perfectly combines vibrant city life with amazing excursions. Whether it's a road trip along the Great Ocean Road or watching wombats at nearby Wilsons Promontory – here, a short drive separates you from the metropolis and the wilderness.
