Jumeirah Mallorca

Even the drive along the serpentine roads to Port de Sóller shows a side of Mallorca that has increasingly come into focus for discerning travelers in recent years: steep rocky coastlines, small bays, ancient olive groves, and that warm light that makes the island appear so serene, especially in the evening. The Jumeirah Mallorca is located above the bay directly on the cliffs of the Tramuntana and captures exactly this Mediterranean way of life. Instead of a classic beach hotel, the resort feels open, relaxed, and closely connected to its surroundings – with terraces that open up to the sea and many quiet retreats among stone, wood, and pines. At the same time, this is also where the new side of Mallorca is revealed: stylish luxury hotels that remain consciously understated and do not overshadow the character of the island. It is precisely this mix of nature, culinary delights, and relaxed luxury that makes Port de Sóller one of the most exciting places for the European summer today.

Culinary

Culinary-wise, the Jumeirah Mallorca strongly focuses on Mediterranean cuisine and the unique location above the sea. At Cap Roig, Mallorcan fish and seafood dishes are the centerpiece, served on a large terrace with a wide view over the bay of Sóller. The Sunset Lounge Restaurant combines Asian influences with cocktails and is particularly regarded as one of the most beautiful spots in the hotel at sunset. The offering is complemented by Es Fanals with modern Mediterranean cuisine and local island products. Many dishes incorporate typical flavors of Mallorca while still appearing contemporary and light.

Activities

Surrounding the Jumeirah Mallorca, the landscape of the Tramuntana is clearly in focus. Hiking trails along the coast, small villages like Deià or Valldemossa, and boat trips along hidden bays showcase a quiet, unspoiled side of Mallorca. At the same time, the resort offers several pools, a large spa, and serene terraces with sea views. Those who want to experience the island more actively will find good opportunities for cycling, kayaking, or private excursions along the west coast in the vicinity. Golf fans will also find satisfaction near the resort and can choose between different golf courses.

Rooms

The rooms and suites consciously reflect the Mediterranean character of the surroundings. Natural tones, light fabrics, and large windows create a relaxed living atmosphere with plenty of light and views of the sea or the mountains of Tramuntana. Especially the terraces and private outdoor areas make the rooms pleasantly open and summery. Despite the elegant design, the ambiance remains homely and uncomplicated. The hotel has a total of 121 rooms, suites, and residences.

Location

On the northwest coast of Mallorca, above Port de Sóller, nestled in the mountainous landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana, lies the Jumeirah Mallorca. Depending on traffic, it takes about 40 minutes by car from Palma de Mallorca airport to reach the resort. The location combines tranquility and privacy with good accessibility to small towns, restaurants, and bays along the coast. Especially in the summer months, a side of Mallorca is revealed here that seems distinctly more relaxed than the more frequented regions of the island.
