Location

With its unique location directly on the shores of Pehoé Lake, in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, Explora Patagonia presents itself as the perfect starting point for versatile outdoor activities. Approximately 400 bird and 60 mammal species are native to the park, which spans around 2,420 square kilometers, including pumas, flamingos, nandus, Andean condors, and foxes. The popular W-Trek leads past the region's major attractions, including the Grey Glacier, the Valle del Francés valley right at the foot of the Torres del Paine, and Cerro Torre, the highest mountain in the Los Glaciares National Park at 3,128 meters. The lodge is best accessed from Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport in Punta Arenas. From there, a 4 to 5-hour transfer takes you directly to the accommodation.
