You will visit the historically significant Plaza de Mayo with the Casa Rosada and the Catedral Metropolitana, stroll along the impressive Avenida 9 de Julio, and admire the Teatro Colón.
In the colorful district of La Boca, experience the vibrant atmosphere on Caminito before continuing to San Telmo with its colonial buildings. To conclude, explore La Recoleta – the elegant ‘Paris of Latin America’ – including the famous cemetery with Evita Perón's grave.
A Day at Your Leisure - Catamaran or Estancia
Today is yours to enjoy. You have the option to book a full-day excursion to one of the many estancias in the surrounding area or a catamaran trip on the Tigre and Paraná Delta.
At the estancia, you will be treated to traditional dishes from the gauchos, good wine, and musical performances. Take a horseback ride across the lands of the Argentine cattle ranch and learn everything about the life of Argentine cowboys.
The Paraná and Tigre Delta beckon with a beautiful water landscape to be admired from aboard a modern catamaran. Discover remote island groups and learn more about the region's flora and fauna.
Flight to Ushuaia
Today you will fly to Ushuaia, located at the very southern tip of the country.
The capital of Tierra del Fuego and the South Atlantic Islands is situated directly on the Beagle Channel, near the Martial Mountains.
During a tour of this small capital with only 70,000 inhabitants, you will discover the main street San Martín, where you can buy souvenirs and local specialties.
A visit to the Maritime Museum will give you the opportunity to learn more about the history and traditions of the city and its residents.
The Beagle Channel and Laguna Esmeralda
On a cruise through the Beagle Channel today, you may be lucky enough to observe sea lions and many rare bird species. The boat trip takes you to the famous lighthouse Les Eclaireurs. Known in Argentina as the 'Lighthouse at the End of the World,' it has guarded the entrance to the Beagle Channel since 1920.
In the afternoon, a hike to Laguna Esmeralda promises a fantastic insight into the flora and fauna of the region. A roughly two-hour walk takes you through ancient forests and peat bogs to the turquoise lagoon, right in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Afterwards, you will make a detour to the Tierra Mayor Valley, where you can observe wild beavers.
Tierra del Fuego National Park
After breakfast, set off for an excursion through the impressive Tierra del Fuego National Park. Marvel at the diverse landscape of rugged mountains, ancient southern beech forests, moors, and jagged coastlines along the Beagle Channel. On well-maintained hiking trails, you will discover the unique flora and fauna of this remote region – with a bit of luck, you may encounter foxes, condors, or even beavers.
In the afternoon, you will leave Ushuaia and fly north again to El Calafate, the gateway to the Patagonian glaciers. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind for the evening.
Excursion to Estancia Nibepo Aike
Today, you will spend an exciting day at Estancia Nibepo Aike, a traditional cattle ranch in Los Glaciares National Park. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed with homemade pastries and warm drinks in the cozy Quincho.
A guided tour of the property will show you the main buildings and the impressive nature with views of the snow-covered mountains and Lago Argentino. Afterwards, you will experience traditional sheep shearing and learn interesting facts about wool processing. After lunch, you will explore the wild beauty of the Patagonian landscape on horseback.
The Perito Moreno Glacier
Today you will get very close to the Perito Moreno Glacier. This massive ice giant feeds, along with other glaciers, Lago Argentino, giving it its milky blue color. From several bridges and elevated walkways, you can get up close to the 80-meter-high glacier walls.
Afterwards, you can admire the glacier from a whole new perspective on a cruise across the southern arm of Lago Argentino.
Puerto Natales
Today you will leave Argentina and take a bus across the border to Chile. The port city of Puerto Natales, located on the Señoret Channel, invites you to linger. After checking in at the hotel, you will have the entire afternoon at your leisure. Ample time for a visit to the historical museum of the city or a tour of the shipyard.
Let yourself be charmed by this historical city's allure, visit some art galleries, or try some local specialties for dinner at one of the many restaurants.
Torres del Paine National Park
After breakfast, you will set off for an excursion to Torres del Paine National Park. In German, 'Torres del Paine' means 'Towers of the Blue Sky' - a fitting name for this fantastic nature reserve, where rugged mountain ranges stretch towards the clouds.
Discover the unique flora and fauna of this national park, declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1978. Among other things, you can observe llamas and one of the largest birds in the world - the condor.
Cruise through the Fjord or Horseback Ride to Figueroa Lagoon
Today, you have the entire day at your leisure. Optional excursions can be booked upon request.
As the first option, we offer you a cruise through the Ultima Esperanza Fjord into O'Higgins National Park. On the boat trip, you may be lucky enough to spot sea lions or the famous condor in the wild.
As the second option, you can participate in a horseback ride to Figueroa Lagoon. This excursion starts from a traditional estancia, which you will return to for lunch afterward.
Back to Buenos Aires
From El Calafate, you will fly north today to the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, a private transfer service will take you to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day enjoying a leisurely walk through one of the charming neighborhoods or reflect on the impressions of the last few days over a glass of Argentine wine. If you wish, you can end the evening with a stylish dinner or a traditional tango show.
The Iguazú Falls - Brazil
After breakfast, a transfer service will take you to the airport, from where you will head to your next destination: Iguazú in Brazil. After checking in at the hotel, you will have the opportunity to admire one of the most impressive natural spectacles in the world: the Iguazú Falls.
Over a span of almost three kilometers, massive volumes of water plunge over larger and smaller falls, with the highest waterfalls reaching over 80 meters. The Brazilians refer to the area where most of the falls are located as the Garganta do Diabo, in English: Devil's Throat.
The Iguazú Falls - Argentina
Today you will visit the other side of the waterfalls (the Argentine side) via wooden walkways and bridges into the heart of the forest and get even closer to the tremendous volumes of water crashing down here.
Discover not only these cascades but also numerous exotic birds and small rodents that make their home in the forest near the river.
A Last Day in Buenos Aires
In the morning, return to the Argentine capital. After checking in at the hotel, you have this last day at your leisure. Explore the beauty and diversity of Buenos Aires and take the chance to shop for a few last souvenirs.
In the evening, you may choose to attend a dinner show. In addition to good food, you will be treated to one of the best tango shows in the city.
