Niyama Private Island Maldives

Play or Chill - which island shall it be today? At Niyama Private Islands Maldives, two worlds merge into an extraordinary resort concept that consciously plays with contrasts and creates maximum freedom. While one island is all about lightness, activity, and social moments, the other invites you to tranquility, retreat, and relaxed hours. In between unfolds a tropical backdrop of dense jungle, wide beaches, and the open Indian Ocean, providing new perspectives time and again. Paths lead through lush vegetation, along hidden bays, and over the water - always accompanied by the feeling of being able to drift according to one's mood. Exactly this combination of diversity and ease makes Niyama a place where no day is like the other, and luxury means above all: complete freedom.

Villas and Pavilions

The 134 villas and pavilions are generously distributed across both islands, offering plenty of space for privacy and individuality. The units start at approximately 135 m² and typically feature private pools and direct access to the sea or beach. Whether located directly on the beach or hovering over the lagoon - all accommodations combine modern design with playful details and spacious outdoor areas. Large window fronts and direct access to the sea or beach create an open spatial feeling that keeps nature always present. Particularly exclusive is 'The Crescent,' an ensemble of overwater villas that is ideal for families or private groups.

Culinary

Culinary-wise, the resort focuses on extraordinary experiences rather than classic concepts. A total of ten restaurants and bars stage enjoyment in various ways. In the underwater restaurant 'Subsix', modern cuisine is served in direct contact with the marine world. 'Edge' is located on a platform over the water and focuses on fresh, well-composed dishes with an emphasis on seafood. The cuisines range from Asian-inspired flavors to Mediterranean lightness, as well as international classics, always with a focus on creativity and high-quality ingredients. Each location is more than just a restaurant; it is part of a staged overall experience.

Activities

The activity offerings at Niyama are deliberately diverse, ranging from relaxed moments to extraordinary experiences. Water sports, diving, and snorkeling are part of it, as well as surf spots directly at the resort. On land, fitness programs, yoga, or boot camps complement the offerings. Families benefit from one of the largest kids' clubs in the Maldives, while excursions such as dolphin watching or private island experiences provide additional highlights. Location

The Niyama Private Islands Maldives is located in the Dhaalu Atoll in the southern part of the Maldives and belongs to the more remote regions of the archipelago. The journey begins with an international flight to Malé, followed by approximately a 40-minute transfer by seaplane directly to the resort. Alternatively, a combination of domestic flight and fast boat is possible, which takes a similar total time. The secluded location provides a calm environment with little traffic on the water. At the same time, the island remains reliably accessible through well-coordinated transfers.
