Location

The Amankora Bumthang Lodge is situated in the picturesque Chökhor Valley, the cultural heart of the Bumthang district. This region, known as Bhutan's spiritual center, is rich in history and culture and is home to numerous monasteries and temples. The lodge is in close proximity to the historic Wandichholing Palace, which was once the royal residence of Bhutan.

From the lodge, guests have easy access to the four valleys of Bumthang: Chökhor, Tang, Ura, and Chhume. These valleys offer a variety of experiences, from spiritual pilgrimages to historic sites such as Jambay Lhakhang to picturesque hikes through unspoiled nature​.
