A complete contrast awaits on Koh Yao Noi: tropical serenity, turquoise waters and plenty of space to unwind in one of the most beautiful corners of the Andaman Sea. The journey ends in Bangkok – a city of contrasts, energy and new perspectives.

Between Jungle Trails and History

Your journey begins in western Thailand – surrounded by nature and touched by history. On the way to your floating lodge, you’ll pass through Kanchanaburi and cross the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, once part of the infamous Death Railway. If you wish, visit the war cemetery and the Death Railway Museum, which offers a moving insight into this chapter of the past.

The next day takes you into Erawan National Park, known for its emerald waterfalls and lush forest trails. In the afternoon, a thrilling mountain buggy adventure leads you deep into the jungle – before the calm of the evening returns and the river takes over the conversation.

Into the Golden Triangle

In the morning, a short ride along the old tracks of the Death Railway offers one last glimpse into history – before you head north to Thailand’s remote frontier. The Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, is a region of striking contrasts: misty mountain ridges, rice terraces clinging to the hillsides, dense forests and quiet, scattered villages.

This is Thailand off the beaten path. Encounters with elephants, boat rides on the Mekong or hikes through the borderlands all carry a quiet sense of distance – a little more untouched, a little more open, a little more still.

03 Koh Yao Noi

Island Time between Sea and Mangroves

After the impressions of the north, you arrive at the Andaman Sea – and step into another world. Koh Yao Noi lies between Phuket and Krabi, yet it feels like time has stood still. No big roads, no rush – just mangroves, fishing boats, jungle, rice paddies and the glittering sea.

Your villa nestles in the tropical greenery, with sweeping views of the limestone cliffs rising from Phang Nga Bay. If you like, explore the island by bike, paddle through quiet bays by kayak or simply follow the rhythm of the tides. Six nights of pure island feeling.

Culture, Contrasts and Culinary Discoveries

To round off your journey, Bangkok welcomes you with vibrant contrasts. Life pulses between palaces and pagodas – modern, creative, full of energy. You’ll visit historic temples, glide through narrow khlongs on a longtail boat and take in views over the Chao Phraya River from a rooftop terrace.

Street food and fine dining, art markets and boutiques, morning chants and nightlife – Bangkok reveals itself as layered and full of surprises. After days in nature, the city offers a shift in perspective. Three nights that capture Thailand’s diversity in a new and unexpected way.
