Activities

Imposing sea turtles, sharks, and dolphins inhabit and surround the vast coral reefs of Curaçao, attracting enthusiastic divers and snorkelers: It is no coincidence that the waters around the island have been among the largest nature reserves in the Caribbean for several decades. Over 100 dive spots can be found in the depths of the ocean. The underwater world can be observed up close, for example, in the course of the Tugboat Snorkel Tour. Would you rather discover new ground under your feet on land? Hiking enthusiasts embark on the guided tour to Christoffel Mountain. Those who do not want to miss out on adrenaline even during their Caribbean vacation can zip across the turquoise waters on jet skis or explore the island on a quad.

Location

Below the hurricane belt is the C of the ABC islands. Just minutes from the heart of the island, the colorful capital of Willemstad, lies the Baoase Luxury Resort on Curaçao. Inspired by Dutch and Afro-Caribbean history, not only is the entire island evident, but so is the cuisine of the restaurants that line the streets of the center. The influence of the Dutch in Willemstad is practically impossible to miss. The houses of the small town were built directly on the water. Initially kept in white, they were later covered in bright colors due to the eye disease of a governor in 1817 - the governor was pained by the bright white in his eyes.
