Rooms

Three completely different hotel wings extend at the Avila Beach Hotel. While the Octagon wing showcases a contemporary style, the classic La Belle Alliance wing and the idyllic Caribbean Ocean Front Blues wing have different advantages. The latter, for example, remains reserved for adults. Loving details and extras such as high-quality, modern furniture and observation decks right outside the door create an atmosphere in the various wings where guests feel completely at ease. Moreover, most room categories feature a private terrace - depending on the type, either directly over the turquoise waves or just a few steps away.

Dining

Local specialties, grand views, and impeccable service go hand in hand in the dining establishments of the Beach Hotel. Culinary delights are provided by four different restaurants serving various snacks like avocado-salmon bagels. Dip your toes in the white, fine sand at the Schooner Bar, the oldest beach bar in Curaçao, and sip on international cocktails. Surrounded by cozy loungers and shade-giving palms, the bar is perfect for quiet afternoons for two. Typical Caribbean flavors can be found at the Blues restaurant: the menu lists steak salads, Sopi Marisko, a delicious local fish soup, as well as fried tuna, red snapper, and shrimp. A live music bar provides entertainment in the evenings.

Activities

Water nymphs, divers, and snorkelers take note: Over 100 dive spots await discovery in Curaçao. Observe sea turtles in the current, the frolicking of impressive sharks, and seemingly playful dolphins - a symbol of the Dutch Caribbean island. Many of these animals can also be wonderfully spotted during a guided motorboat or sailing tour. If you consider yourself an adrenaline-loving adventurer, the hotel staff is happy to organize jet ski tours for you. Those who don't want to miss their workout even on vacation can use the Avila Fitness Center - complete with TechnoGym equipment and sea views. In the evening, the hotel's own Cloud Nine Spa calls for revitalizing treatments.

Location

Ideally situated halfway to everywhere, the Avila Beach Hotel impresses guests with its location in the vibrant district of Pietermaai, which is only a 15-minute walk from Willemstad's city center. Swaying palms nearby provide shade for shoppers strolling along Mambo Beach Boulevard. The architecture and the unmistakable European flair on-site perfectly reflect the Dutch and Afro-Caribbean history of the region. Facing the Caribbean Sea, the little houses have been built right by the turquoise water - just like the Avila Beach Hotel.
