The andBeyond Benguerra Island Resort features 10 Casinhas, two Cabanas, and a family suite with three bedrooms, each decorated in boutique style with selected local artwork and equipped with a private pool, outdoor shower, and WiFi. The Casinhas are very spacious, with a large terrace, and offer direct views of the beach from the bedroom, which is known for one of the most beautiful sunsets in Africa. The Cabanas are similarly designed but considerably smaller and do not have direct beach access. The family or honeymoon villa comes with a private chef and offers extra privacy at the edge of the resort.

The cuisine at andBeyond Benguerra is as top-notch as the resort itself. Here, culinary offerings revolve around the sea, with fish and seafood taking center stage, along with other European and African delicacies. If you have specific needs or preferences, you will always find a listening ear with the chefs. Activities

The Bazaruto Archipelago is the last remaining home for the endangered Indo-Pacific manatee, and a variety of other rare marine animals can also be found here. The andBeyond Resort is located on Benguerra, the second-largest island in the sunny Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. The lodge is hidden in an indigenous pine forest, in a protected marine national park, surrounded by deserted beaches and colorful coral reefs. The nearest town, Vilanculos, is just a short helicopter flight away. This international airport can be accessed from South Africa, either directly from Kruger Mpumalanga after your safari or from Johannesburg. Daily flights also operate from Maputo to Vilanculos.
