Rainforest, Lakes & Waterfalls
Your journey begins in the lush highlands of northern Bali, where ancient rainforests meet quiet crater lakes and hidden waterfalls. A gentle hike takes you through the Tamblingan forest to the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan, followed by a peaceful canoe ride across the water. Breakfast is served in the middle of nature, with sweeping views and time to simply take it all in. Later, visit the scenic Banyumala Waterfalls before returning to your retreat for an afternoon at leisure.
Temples, rice terraces & culture
On your way to Ubud, stop at the iconic water temple Ulun Danu Bratan and the expansive rice terraces of Jatiluwih – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Ubud, you’ll find yourself surrounded by soft jungle sounds, temple rituals and local art. The following day is all about immersion: sacred water temples, the Monkey Forest, bustling markets and traditional dance in the courtyard of the Ubud Palace.
Traditions, landscape & culinary delights
In the rolling hills of Sidemen, Bali reveals its deeply rooted, rural side. Meet local artisans, walk through terraced fields, learn about daily rituals and try your hand at Balinese cooking. Between herbal drinks and handwoven fabrics, this is a day full of authentic impressions. The next morning, join a market visit and cooking class at Bali Asli – with volcano views and age-old techniques – or simply slow down and take in the serenity of East Bali.
Private Yacht Cruise in the Archipelago
After a short flight to Flores, your private yacht sets sail through the spectacular island world of the Komodo National Park. Over three days, discover coral reefs, pink beaches and quiet coves – and come face to face with the legendary Komodo dragons. Whether you hike, snorkel, dive or just watch the horizon drift by, this part of the journey is both wild and deeply peaceful. Evenings end on deserted shores, with beach BBQs and star-filled skies.
Nature, creativity & new perspectives
Arriving on Sumba feels like entering another world. The island’s rugged hills, wide skies and strong traditions create a powerful sense of place. At Cap Karoso, you’ll stay at a design-forward retreat surrounded by rice fields and ocean. Your time here is your own: take part in creative workshops, join a local cooking session, explore hidden beaches – or simply enjoy the calm rhythm of this remote island.
Coastal Calm to End Your Journey
At the end of your journey, return to Bali’s southern coast and unwind in Jimbaran. These final days are all about stillness and sea – barefoot beach walks, grilled fish at sunset, and long, easy hours by the water. A gentle close to a rich and varied journey.
