The rooms are designed according to the hotel's design concept, combining clear shapes with handcrafted details. Natural materials, locally produced ceramics, and light wood furniture characterize the spaces. Large windows let in plenty of daylight and open the view to the garden or sea. The rooms start at around 37 square meters and come with balconies or terraces with sitting areas.

Culinary

The hotel's kitchen is heavily oriented towards regional products and traditional recipes from Mauritius. In the main restaurant, many dishes are prepared from the island's vegetables, spices, and fish, often in open cooking stations right in front of the guests. Location

The SALT of Palmar, an Adults-only Boutique Hotel is located on the quiet east coast of Mauritius directly on the beach of Palmar. The distance from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is approximately 45 kilometers, corresponding to a driving time of about 60 minutes. The lagoon in front of the hotel is one of the longer stretches of beach on this coast and offers an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean. Places like Belle Mare or Trou d’Eau Douce, starting points for boat trips to Île aux Cerfs, can be reached in about 10 to 15 minutes.
